“Selet-Kandrakul” takes place in the Republic of Bashkortostan on the shore of the picturesque Kandrakul Lake. The focus area of the “Selet-Kandrakul” session is regional studies; therefore, the session programme pays special attention to the study of traditions, customs and history of the Tatar and Bashkir peoples. This session began its work in 2014 with the participation of 75 children.
An important task of this camp is to revive and support respect for the spiritual and intellectual heritage of the Turkic people in the schoolchildren and university students and to educate an attitude of care towards its history and traditions.
