The answer is in the interview with the director of this project – Guzel Usmanova.

- Guzel, how long have you been supervising the project?
- Not long actually, since 2014. Though I know how it all started, WHERE it was and HOW it was. And IT was really-really great and very cordial!

- What is the difference between BikaFest and other festivals held in Tatarstan?
- Not difference, I would rather say uniqueness. We manage to make it truly emotional and full of «Selet» spirit.

- What novelties should we expect this year?
- There are many of them: debuts, new styles, and new names! In the statutes of the contest, we introduced age related categories for each nomination. That is going to be interesting!

- How many people have already applied and where from?
- At the moment we have 96 participants registered from Kazan, Elabuga, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Chistopol, Aznakaevo, as well as from the Arsky, Sabinsky, Baltasinsky districts.

- Who is among the jury?
- Our expert community: the members of «Selet», its tutors and friends. We trust them very much! For the vocal part, we have Rif Gataullin, Ilnaz Safiullin, Leysan Askhatova, Gulsiren Abdullina, Askhat Khisamov and Aydar Fayzrakhmanov. For the poetic one – Fanis Zigansha and Rustam Gataullin. Rimma Ibragimova is the president of the jury.

- How could the participants surprise you?
- By some «magic» and charisma, of course! (Laughing)
